By definition the word affirmation means emotional support or encouragement. Affirmations are mini statements that are meant to affect your behavior and impact your life in a positive way. These statements change your way of thinking. They are meant to strip away your negative thoughts and replace them with positive thoughts – which leads to a positive mind set and behaviors. I have learned to advocate for myself through the power of speaking daily affirmations over my life. I Speak positivity into my daily routine, declare my short and long term goals and empower myself.

I LOVE ME
These three simple words are written on my bathroom mirror as a reminder that I must love myself before I can effectively love someone else.
1 Corinthians 13:4-5 Love is patient,
love is kind.
It does not envy,
it does not boast,
it is not proud.
It does not dishonor others,
it is not self-seeking,
it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.

Public Speaking is a fear that I am conquering day by day. Fear will not control the way I communicate.

I AM CHOSEN BY GOD
Psalm 65:4 Blessed is the man You choose,
And cause to approach You,
That he may dwell in Your courts.
We shall be satisfied with the goodness of Your house,
Of Your holy temple.
I AM HEALED
Isaiah 53:5 But He was wounded for
our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.
I AM COMPLETE IN CHRIST
Colossians 2:10 and in Christ you have been brought to fullness.
He is the head over every power and authority.
GOD IS MY STRENGTH
